So now you have read what Fetternear Hall has to offer and when the Hall is available, this is where you find out how to book the facility and the terms and conditions of hire.
Booking Process
Select the date(s) you would like to book. Check the Hall Availability Page for the latest availability list.
To make a provisional booking by phone, please call the Hallkeeper on 01467 643548, or to make your provisional reservation by e-mail, send the request to info@fetternearhall.co.uk.
No matter which contact option you choose, we will send a booking form in the post to be completed by the hirer.
Return the completed form, plus your hire deposit as explained on the form.
And that's all there is to it!
Booking Conditions
For the benefit of the Hall and its users, we have a number of terms and conditions for the hire of the Hall. We will send a copy of these with your booking form, but please take a moment to read through them now to ensure you can comply with the conditions.
- Let of Hall is £40 plus a £100 deposit which will be refunded providing the Hall is left in a clean and tidy state with no damages to the propert after the event. Electricity is charged at 25p per unit and this will be deducted from the deposit.
- All rubbish to be tidied up and placed in the wheeled bins outside the kitchen door.
- Fire Regulations. As normal with a public hall, you are requested to acquaint yourself and your party with the locations of all fire exists and Fire Extinguishing equipment.
- Please observe the 'No Smoking' signs throughout the Hall. Sand bins are located in the car park for cigarette butts.
- Cancellation of bookings. All bookings cancelled within four weeks of the event date will be charged at 50% of the price had the booking gone ahead.
- Alcohol. It is the responsibility of the hirer to apply to Aberdeenshire Council Licencing Board for an alcohol licence and it is his/her responsibility to ensure that all legal conditions are met.
- Loss or Damage. Any loss or damage to the Hall and its contents must be made good and full restitution made.
- Personal Property. The Hall Committee cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of personal property on the premises.
