I trained in Art many years ago, firstly studying a foundation course, then design and textiles in High Wycombe and London. I then took rather a dramatic direction change and have worked for almost 20 years as an Air Traffic Controller!

My life has changed a lot over the last three years since my two sons came along - my career became less of a priority and I wanted to return to being creative and do something I enjoy. The idea for these pieces has evolved gradually over the last few years, the first canvas I did like this was actually my own paint covered jeans after weeks of decorating my home!!
